Test results

After an examination (such as blood tests, urine tests, or an ultrasound), it usually takes a few working days for the results to become available.

We will only contact you by phone if the result has immediate consequences for your health or treatment.

For all other results, we kindly ask you to contact us yourself, in the morning between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, by calling 053–2030204.


Important
- The medical assistant will often first consult with the requesting healthcare provider regarding the results and any follow-up. The requesting provider is the healthcare professional who ordered the test, such as your GP or another practitioner within our practice.

- It may happen that the requesting provider is not available on the same day. In that case, you may be asked to call back at a later time.


Average Waiting Times
- Blood tests: usually within 2 working days
- Urine tests: usually within 5 working days
- Cultures or specialized tests: usually within 5 working days, but may take longer if samples are sent to an external laboratory
- Pathology (PA): may take up to 14 working days

We advise you to contact us only after these timeframes have passed.
