Here you can find the relaxed and safe athmosphere you need to discuss difficult subjects like intimacy and sex. Intimacy and sexuality is present in all kind of relationships and it can be influenced by multiple factors. Problems with intimacy or sexuality can, on the other hand, influence for example the relationship.
Hereby I want to invite everyone who has a problem with his or her sexuality to my practice. No matter the gender, age or sexual orientation.

The sexuologist

Minke van der Velde is a medical doctor and sexuologist. In 2013 she gratuated as a medical doctor from the University of Groningen. From 2013-2016 she was working as an intern at the Gynaecology department of Medisch Spectrum Twente, Enschede. In 2016 she finished the Postmasteropleiding Seksuologie at Ringroep, Utrecht. Since 2017 she has her own practice for sexuology where she sees men as well as women and couples. Because Minke is a medical doctor she can perform a physical examination. Ofcourse this will only take place with your permission.
The treatment
The first session will be an intake. Severall questions will be asked to get to know you better. The questions will be about the problem, but also about your general health and your relationship. Ofcourse there will be room to ask questions, you will get information and sometimes you will receive some homework.
The best interval between 2 session is about 4-6 weeks. De amount of sessions depends on the problem and the effort of the cliënt. If you have a relationship it is best to come together to the first session. During the session we can discuss if you need to come together to the next session.
Making an appointment and the costs
The assistent of Huisartsenpraktijk Campus UT will send a referral to Minke van der Velde by textmessage. Minke will contact you through email or phone to make an appointment. Sometimes there is a waitinglist, this will be noticed on the website.

The appointments will take place on Fridays at the practice situated in Het Janninkcomplex, cromhoffsbleekweg 2. Minke will make a summary of the session in the electronic patientfile of the huisartsenpraktijk. Immediately after the consultation you will pay €20, the other costs are payed by the huisartsenpraktijk. Appointments will be cancelled maximum 48 hours in advance by email. Appointments that are cancelled later or if you don’t show will be charged.
