What are STDs?
STDs are sexually transmitted diseases. An STD is caused by a virus or bacteria. You can get an STI without noticing anything. You do not always have complaints, but it can have major consequences for your health if you are not treated on time. So take an STD test on time!
STD test Enschede Campus GP
You can take an STD test at a doctor's or STD nurse's practice. During your confidential conversation with our doctor or STI nurse, it is determined which STI test should be done. This depends on the risk you ran, how and with whom you had unprotected sex contact (with a woman, a man or both).
Chlamydia & Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea and chlamydia can be tested in three ways. By collecting a test at our practice, by ordering a test anonymously or during the consultation hour of our STD nurse. The STD tests for syphilis, HIV and hepatitis are performed through blood tests. This means that blood is taken for lab tests. You can take blood in our practice. You can make an appointment for this with the STD nurse or the doctor's assistant. There are also other STIs that occur regularly, including scabies, genital warts and genital herpes.
Test yourself
Anonymous testing is done at testalize.me. You can order the tests anonymously via this link. If you have any questions regarding this information, you can call our practice 053-2030204 or send an email to info@campushuisarts.nl.
